We will visit the devotional places of Solovetsky men of faith. These places are outlined against the surrounding area; there reigns the peculiar silence and serenity, you really feel the presence of Saints. The latter is hard to describe, but pilgrims feel it, because their prayers are heard. You will hear about the miraculous visions of God and Holy Mother.
Also we will pray in front of the Solovetsky monastery founders’ shrines, where you can feel the presence of Germanus, Zosimas and Sabbatius of Solovki. They bless some, turn away from the others.
While visiting Uspensky (Dormition) and Svyato-Preobrazhensky cathedrals, built under Father Superior Phillip, we will think how it is possible that during 18 years he succeeded on creation of a tremendous “stone town” with road network, lake-canal system, household industries, dams and harbours. Visiting the restored cathedral on the mount Golgotha (Anzersky island), we will talk about ascetic life of Eleazar, the founder of the skete, and Job, honored with divine revelations.
We will visit the mount Sekirnaya (Svyato-Voznesensky skete) and the mount Golgotha (Golgofo-Raspyatsky skete). The history and present time are deeply intertwined there. We will grieve for victims of violence and cruelty of this national Golgotha, we will admire the courage and determination of Solovetsky saint martyrs. All these make you wiser, steadier; you start to treat life in spiritual way.
Program duration: (4 nights/5 days) or (7 nights/8 days)
The program also includes: excursions over the territory of the resort and its surrounding (several variants at option depending on weather conditions and group decision), a walk through pine forest, an outing to the seaside with respiratory gymnastics elements, healthy life-style instructor’s advice, skiing or all-terrain vehicle trips, a possibility to devote time to relaxation, beauty and health, Russian sauna (banya) with honey and algal recipes.
At extra cost: trips to Bolshoy Solovetsky island, Anzersky island (Solovetsky archipelago) to take part in public liturgies.
Price: 11 000 rub./day (standard room on the 2nd floor accommodation)
The price includes: accommodation, food (Pomor cuisine or Healthy diet), healthy life-style instructor’s lessons, ski rental, all-terrain vehicle group excursions, trips to Solovetsky archipelago by means of hovercraft “Marina”, Russian sauna (banya).
Important! Our program can be changed in order to use weather conditions the best way. Some excursions can be replaced by that of equal value. Taking off or putting to the sea takes place if there are no bans because of the weather conditions. The decision about the departure by sea is made by the captain of the ship. The priority of services may be changed without reducing their amount. In cases when it is impossible to go by sea (by hovercraft “Marina”) the price is recalculated and transportation to Solovetsky archipelago is made by Mi-8 helicopter (at extra cost).
The program can be changed if so desired (by prior arrangement). The additional packages (sightseeing, health improving, relaxing, ecological, athletic, educational, corporate) can be included. The price changes in case of changes in the program.
Groups are offered different ways to get to Letnaya Zolotitsa (via Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Solovetsky archipelago, Petrozavodsk, Arkhangelsk). According to your preferences the individual variant of the route, transport facilities, changes in the program and the duration of the visit can be made.
